June 8, 2008 will raise funds to help battle hunger in our area.

The
walk, in memory of our partner and guiding light, Kinny Gallup will aid
6 area agencies in handling the immediate needs of residents throughout
New Jersey who are suffering with the ravages of hunger.
Kingsley
H. Gallup, know as Kinny to family and friends, was a great
humanitarian who gave willingly of her time and energy to many causes
that negatively affect our fellow residents.
Her
knowledge of the struggle that many area residents deal with daily to
provide nutritious food for themselves and their families prompted her
to challenge Chuck Inman, founder of the Battle Against Hunger, to a
call of action.
With Kinny’s encouragement and support,
Chuck founded the Battle Against Hunger in 2003. Through the efforts of
many dedicated volunteers, the Battle Against Hunger has raised over
$240,000.00 to help feed the hungry from their yearly 200 mile bike
tour!
